ENGAGE|UNITE|THRIVE: NEWPORT is a social engagement project supporting our community during Covid-19 and beyond.

This project was birthed after observing an influx of people getting more and more distanced out of necessity to stay well and safe. The need to have a one-stop website with essential community resources and extensive information on online activities and education was apparent.

​

So working in the community to build spaces with-in a vision of inclusion and belonging I decided to execute a project to do just that. Bring inclusion and belonging online but to our local community.

​

So I thought to create a space online in blog format with advertising to support the project; hence the ads you see all support the mission of this project and its ability to organically grow. The Project includes the issues of staying connected and active in your community while sustaining our community.

*Your online event, class or activity. There will be daily postings of what's going on locally. The idea is that you are connecting with real people who are local; in your community, not just another recorded video or webinar but live events that allow connection to happen. When we are able to participate without social distancing we will have made new connections locally. These will include Free and Paid events in my listings. We need to support our local businesses during this time. "WE" can help our local economy sustain.

*Shout-outs & Stories in your community. We have many unsung heroes and wonderful moments we can share together. Send some pics and your story, or if you want to shout out to someone or a business, etc. include all that information.
